Updating your Omeo Firmware

Regular firmware updates can keep your Omeo performing at it's best. Please follow the instructions below to update your Omeo firmware.



  1. With the Omeo legs down and the power off, step to the rear of the machine
  2. Towards the right hand side, lift the underseat seal and locate the 5-pin plug with brown, blue and black cables.
  3. Connect your RS485 programming cable to the 5-pin plug
  4. Connect the USB end into your PC/laptop running Microsoft Windows
  5. Run "firmware updater" as administrator
  6. Power on your Omeo using the Info-Key
  7. On the firmware updater, click "scan for connector"
  8. Select USB serial port and then click "Program Device" warning: do not disconnect the cable or power down your Omeo while your firmware updates.
  9. Once the update is complete, power down your Omeo and disconnect the cable.
  10. Re-attach the underseat seal of your Omeo
  11. Steady your Omeo and raise the legs by pressing the main control switch three times. This will reset your Omeo.
  12. Press the main control switch once to lower the legs and you are done!
